“The man who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the crowd. The man who walks alone is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been before.” – Alan Ashley-Pitt (Scott’s High School Yearbook Quote)

I was transformed after defeating a rare form of cancer for which I am the only known survivor in the world.  My diagnosis, treatment, and recovery from this disease prompted me to re-evaluate my life, my goals, and my profession.  I left my International Finance job at H.B.O. to write self-help, spiritual, and travel books, and volunteer with the Make-A-Wish-Foundation®.  I now fulfill my professional passion, and serve others, through Coaching, Writing, and Workshops & Seminars.
